I am opening this website for the purpose of helping your family to work with you and for you, and they can see what articles are available, and not have to search the web, I can do that for them, they are busy!
So I am just going to do some cutting and pasting, Vivian, and you can go to this page, and print out whatever you want.
I think Aline has BROCA APHASIA caused of course, by her stroke. It took me half an hour to find how to spell "aphasia", and how I am all set to go. When I have more time, I will find some pictures to post, and you can print these off, also.
You can also tell your family about this, and they can send me anything they want posted at jasmartinup@yahoo.com and I will put it up on this site. To tell you the truth, there is a website here, called http://www.nelliegrey.blogspot.com/ and it is a site where we posted and informed her whole family, of her long, difficult illness. Unfortunately, she was sensitive to a medication which they kept giving her, and she did not make it. You may go there if you like.
This is to inform you of anything and everything I can find, and track Aline's progress toward more communication. She is still her old self, and I cannot wait to go visit again. She is so flexable, to be able to go from her wonderful life to such restriction, what a fantastic heart she has! She is still my hero! What a privilege to have her genes in your make-up!
So Aline, I will do my best.
